Copyless is a pre-release macOS assistant for screenshot-first and file-aware AI conversations. This policy describes the intended privacy posture for the upcoming release.
What you choose to share
Copyless does not capture your screen continuously. The app attaches screenshots, pasted files, dragged files, and prompts when you explicitly add them to a conversation and submit a request.
How AI requests work
When you ask Copyless to answer a question, the selected text, screenshots, and supported files may be sent to the Copyless backend and model providers so the answer can be generated.
Local files
Attached files are copied into Copyless app storage on your Mac so the conversation can continue even if the original file moves. Removing an attachment from the conversation releases it from future requests.
